Wanya Morris

Wanyá Jermaine Morris (born 29 July 1973, in Philadelphia) is an American R&B singer, best known as a member of the R&B group Boyz II Men.
Aside from Boyz II Men, Wanyá has his own record label, "The Company Entertainment."

Wanya is very well known for being the "emotional boy" of Boyz II Men. He has influenced some of the biggest stars to date such as Ne-Yo and many more. He has powerful vocals with a very high range and sung most of Boyz II Men bridges and including duets with former girlfriend Brandy Norwood, and Mariah Carey. He has stated on Boyz II Men tape that he was forced to grow up a little faster than his peers, and didn't graduate from the Performing Arts School in which Boyz II Men was founded. Also, he was a part of the original group "Unique Attraction", but later was revamped into Boyz II Men.
In many past interviews, Wanya has stated personal things on his life growing up in the Richard Allen Projects of Philadelphia and dating singer Brandy Norwood
He has said that Brandy's mother has had a factor in their breaking up, and he feels that Brandy has animosity towards him.
In the 1990's, on the success of Boyz II Men albums, he stated that even if Boyz II Men does not have longevity he will always have something to do with music. Wanya has also tried his hand at acting in a '99' movie intitled 'Uninvited Guest' starring Mekhi Phifer. Wanya is an honorary member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
Wanya (along with Boyz II Men co-member Shawn Stockman) is a Black Hebrew Israelite.
