Wang Lei (? - 211) was a minister serving under Liu Zhang following the later years of the Han Dynasty period of China. Wang Lei became known amongst all the servants of Liu Zhang through the fact that hung himself upside-down from the castle wall to warn Liu Zhang against the welcoming of Liu Bei. When Wang Lei's warnings went unheeded by Liu Zhang, he cut the rope and fell to his death.
