Waneta Plaza

Waneta Plaza is a regional, enclosed shopping centre in Trail, British Columbia, Canada. It is located on Highway 3B to the east of the city. It is the largest mall by area in the West Kootenay area.
The mall opened in 1978 and contains 185,000 square feet (17,200 m²) of rentable area, including Zellers and Extra Foods. There are approximately 30 other retailers including Bootlegger (store), Athlete's World, Reitmans, and Warehouse One. At the centre of the mall is a skylit two-story atrium, with a small food court. The partial second level above contains approximately 20,000 square feet (2,000 m²) of professional space.
