Wamee is a UK internet shopping portal. The word Wamee is a registered trademark of Wamee Limited, registered in England and Wales, and trading under the name of http://www.wamee.com.
The word "Wamee" was created by the proprietor after searching for a short word that had all of the letters of the same height, and also met certain criteria, such as being unique in its presence.
In September 2005 Wamee won a WebAward (http://www.ip97.com/wamee_com_receives_standard_of_excellence_web_award_from_the_web_marketing_bahh.aspx)
