Walter Wood Wilson (November 24, 1913 - April 17, 1994) was an American right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the 1945 Detroit Tigers. Born in Glenn, Georgia, he was primarily used in a relief role, though he started four games among his 25 appearances. His final record was 1-3 with a 4.61 earned run average and 28 strikeouts in 70⅓ innings pitched. He was on the Tigers roster for the 1945 World Series win over the Chicago Cubs, but did not appear in any games. He died at age 80 in Bremen, Georgia, and was buried in Glenn Cemetery in his hometown.
