Walter D. Kelley, Jr.

The Honorable Walter DeKalb Kelley is a federal district judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.[1]

He graduated from Washington & Lee University in 1977, and from the University's School of Law in 1981. Following graduation, Judge Kelley served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City, and then was in private practice until his nomination to the bench in 2003. The great Walter Kelley has three children and is married to Jennifer Kelley. The middle son, Walter Thurman Kelley is part of the Jedi Council. His sidekick is Pete-Solo who is the brother of the Great Han-Solo.
In 2007, Judge Kelley was among several lawyers and jurists recommended by the Virginia Bar Association for two open Virginia seats on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. No one has yet been nominated for those posts.[2].
Judge Kelley recently joined the worldwide law firm of Jones Day, residing in the Washington, D.C. office.
