Walt Disney World Explorer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Walt Disney World Explorer is a CD-ROM application, released by Disney Interactive around 1996 that lets the user explore the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida. The program consists of virtual tours through all of the Disney parks, and trivia about the parks, attractions and hotels. Various games are also built in to the application, such as a quiz, allowing the user to test their knowledge of the resort, and a game which involves finding Hidden Mickeys. About two years after it was released, a second edition was made with new and updated information, like Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and more.

The game is designed for PCs running Windows 95 or later, with 8 MB of RAM and a minimum processor specification of a 66MHz 80486 processor.
