Wally Roettger

Walter Henry Roettger (August 28, 1902 in St. Louis, Missouri - September 14, 1951 in Champaign, Illinois), was a professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1927-1935. He would play for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
He would later coach baseball at the University of Illinois from 1935 to 1951.
