Wallace Worsley

Wallace A. Worsley Sr. (8 December 1878 in Wappingers Falls, New York, USA26 March 1944 in Hollywood, California, USA) was an American director of silent films and actor, who directed in his lifetime 29 films during years 1918-1928 and acted in 7 films. Including The Hunchback of Notre Dame from 1923 belongs to his best known works. Worsley had with his wife actress Julia M. Taylor two sons, Paul and the film director Wallace Worsley Jr.
