Thanks so much for your comments on my talk page. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that a compromise can be reached without resorting to further escalation! However it is unfortunate when differences in opinion become so severe as to be a hurdle to productive editing. I'd also like to thank you for your participation in the debate. You are right though, sometimes disengaging after your point has been made and moving on to other articles and projects is a good idea, to let things calm down some.
