Although I am uncertain of the precise date of the change to the Alma Mater, I believe it is around 1998. I recall distribution of the original one and the revision was sung by the graduating class that year.
[edit] Needs Major Fact Checking and Documentation
I casually consulted the article, but was surprised by the many grammatical problems and some potentially defamatory statements. I fixed the grammar, but the article is filled with unsupported assertions that need checking and documentation. Not by me, though, but I hope by a proud Walton grad. [edit] Rewrite
This article needs to be written for accuracy. In 2005 the school was broke into small learning communities, and today its entire composition and purpose has changed, as well as its academic achievement rates. • Freechild'sup? 16:42, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
