My contributions on scoring and timeouts are pretty anemic. PLEASE feel free to replace them.

[edit] Creator of Wallyball
It is under my impression that the inventor of wallyball is actually Joe Garcia--not Maj Leandro Worrell as indicated in this article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wikisolipsist (talk • contribs) 20:32, 2 March 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Rebound
Should there be a different section or a different page for Rebound Volleyball?
In Queensland, Australia a different version of this game is played. It may be played in other hot places - I don't know. If not, it probably will in the future. It is called Rebound Volleyball but it is significantly different to this "Wallyball" discussed here in several ways. Firstly it is played on sand courts like beach volleyball. Due to the warm climate it is played all year under a high roof but there are no walls. In effect it is therefore played outdoors. There are 2 different court sizes that I know of. I think the standard size is the same as beach volleyball. Secondly the court is surrounded by nets - including the top of the court - creating a ceiling. Thirdly up to 6 players can play. Fourthly some of the rules are significantly different. For example a serve may not touch any net. There are rules that apply to the surrounding nets. Fifthly the scoring is slightly different as well.
The nets absorb much of the momentum of the ball with the exception of the ceiling net - which has the effect of accelerating the downward ball. The nets combined with the sand surface makes significant difference to play. All these differences add up to a significantly different game although there are obvious similarities with "Wallyball". I don't know if it originated from "Wallyball" or beach volleyball. My guess would be from beach volleyball or else from both.
Should I create a new section within this page or should I create a separate Rebound Volleyball page which has links to this Wallyball page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gekoman (talk • contribs) 06:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
