Wahl Glacier

Wahl Glacier (Latitude 83° 59.0' S Longitude 165° 06.0' E ) is named after Bruno Wahl (1929-2000) German-American physicist and rocket scientist. In 1960-1961, Dr. Wahl wintered over Antarctica to measure the Van Allen Belt Radiation for the American space program.
