[edit] Footnoting in Green chemistry
If you have an inline ref[1] you don't need to have a matched enumerated References entry for it. But if you really want things that look to you like footnote references to have footnotes, you should use Cite.php. It automatically generates a footnote, keeps the numbers in sync, and sets up the links between the inline ref and the footnote to which it refers. No reason to waste your time keeping a numbered list in sync manually. DMacks 18:49, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
