An Amateur Radio enthusiast with over 200 countries contacted by 2 way radio, two SAREX Shuttle Amateur Radio Experiment contacts, and many SAREX Space Amateur Radio Experiments (SAREX moved from the STS flights to a permanent home on the ISS. As permanent as that can be, anyhow.) These contacts are provable by QSL (reply cards) and logs.
A member of the nearly 800 year old Secular Franciscan Order (not necessarily a shining example of one...)
A writer of technical articles, fiction, and other drivel. Please do not draw any inference as to the quality of the writing.
A former police officer.
A resident of North America, in North Carolina, within Mecklenburg County where they TAX RAINFALL, even if it does NOT rain.
