W-CDMA 2100 (also known as UMTS 2100) is the name usually assigned to UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA (W-CDMA) network when operating in the band 2110-2200 MHz for downlink and 1885-2025 MHz for uplink. The two up and down bands are often referred as 2100 / 1900 or simply 2100. From here the name W-CDMA 2100.
