Vuda Point
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vuda Point is a location in Fiji's Ba Province, between Nadi and Lautoka. By tradition, it was the landing site of the canoes that brought the Melanesian ancestors of the Fijian people to the country.
Vuda Point features a yacht marina. First Expatriate family to settle in the Vuda was the Kumars, Mishras and Goundar family. They still currently reside in the area except the Mishras, along with other old famalies in the area, such as the Vakubuas, and the Babas.
