Since 1920, VSS-UNES-USU (Verband Schweizer Studierendenschaften, Union des Etudiant-e-s de Suisse, Unione Svizzera degli Universitari) is the umbrella organization of the Swiss Student Unions and represents the interests of students in Switzerland. It coordinates the requests of its members and cooperates with national and international organizations. Its most important aims are democratization and equalization.
VSS-UNES-USU is a member of ESIB, the National Unions of Students in Europe.
