Vračar plateau

The Vračar plateau is the plateau with absolute height of 134 meters above the sea level.
The dominant position in Belgrade's cityscape gave it natural precondition for the first meteorological observatory in Serbia, Belgrade Meteorological Station, its building built in 1891.
Nowadays, it houses Temple of Saint Sava making it visible from all approaches to the city and it’s landscape became a sacredscape and ethnoscape.
