[edit] Hundreds of Sweden
All articles contained in this category (link at bottom) are stubby and nonencyclopedic and should be deleted. -Soltak 22:49, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
- Keep per arguments at a previous Category for Deletion: Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2005_May_13#Category:Hundreds_of_Sweden. These are real, geographical places, could potentially contain information such as etymology, a map of the hundred, major settlements, when it was merged with other hundreds to form a kommun etc. Their current stubby status is probably more evidence of systemic bias than anything else. - Keep There's already a precedent for this one. The articles are only stubby because they have been neglected since Mic created them. If you look each of them up Nationalencyklopedin there's a surprising amount of information on each and everyone. /Peter Isotalo 10:13, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. In addition to what Peter said, this nomination is invalid as categories go on WP:CFD and articles have to be nominated individually on WP:VFD, and cannot be deleted through nomination of their category. --Uppland 18:54, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
- Request Withdrawn. This motion was not offered in accordance with Wikipedia proceedure. -Soltak 19:59, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
