Vorkreist is a French satanic Death / black metal band, based in Paris.
They mix influences from Death and Black metal. They also share members with the black metal bands Antaeus and Hell Militia.
"Vorkreist" is a barbarism created by the band that would mean Antichrist.

After a demo in 2001, Vorkreist released their first album, Sabbathical Flesh Possession, in 2003, to mixed reviews[1][2] They released their second full-length album, Sublimation XXIXA, in 2006, to generally positive reviews[3][4]
They toured Europe in September 2007 with Blacklodge and Horna[5].
