Volodyovski (1898-not found) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse. He was owned and bred by Lady Valerie Meux who leased him for racing to Lord William Leslie de la Poer Beresford but after he died in late 1900, she re-leased the colt to the wealthy American businessman, William Collins Whitney.
In 1901, Volodyovski set a new speed record in winning England's most prestigious Classic, the Epsom Derby. He finished second to longshot Doricles in that fall's St. Leger Stakes. Although he raced at age four, Volodyovski did not earn a victory that year and was retired to stud duty having won seven of his twenty-six starts.
Volodyovski sired at least two dozen foals, none of which met with any racing success.
