[edit] Soliciting an article
VolunteerMatch is soliciting people to write a Wikipedia article about it. In a cute self-referential move, they posted a volunteer opportunity listing to write a Wikipedia article. This call has been picked up on Craigslist.org. To their credit, they acknowledge that "Wikipedia does not recommend that organizations write their own article...", so they are just encouraging others to contribute and aren't attempting to approve the result. I like VolunteerMatch and the way they're going about this. I'm not complaining, I'm just providing transparency. I'm also responding to the call by starting the article. Please help! --Jdlh | Talk 19:04, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

- http://www.volunteermatch.org/ is the org's own web site, and has a lot of material there.
- http://www.volunteermatch.org/pressroom/news/index.jsp has a list of articles that mention VolunteerMatch, and the text of the article is hosted there. It would be better to find links to the original article, hosted on the original outlet's site, and use that URL.
- Impact Online's Form 990 is hosted on volunteermatch.org , and already cited in the article. It would be good to find a URL to the return as hosted on the IRS or GuideStar sites.
