[edit] Width of the Sharan
I do not understand the information in the info box where it states that the width of the Sharan changed from 2150 mm preface-lift to 1810 mm post face lift. That's over a foot of difference in anglo-american measures, and the car didn't change that much between facelifts. Does anyone have a handbook handy? Otherwise (by way of a clue) I see that the French wiki gives the width as 2150 mm whereas German wiki gives the width as 1810 mm. Neither bothers to differentiate between pre and post face lift widths. IF the width were 1810 mm the car should appear a little wider than it is high whereas if the width is 2150 mm then it should appear much wider than it is high. (Height is also affected by whether or not you are looking at one with roof bars: though they all fit under the bar in a standard urban car park.) But there must, in this context, be a better way to arbitrate between the two widths stated: Im sure one of them is wrong. Charles01 (talk) 19:06, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
One includes the side mirrors one does not.
I got my info from Volkswagen Driver magazine as I did not have any other info on hand. --VWphaetonfan (talk) 09:29, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
