Talk:Volkswagen Eos

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The sunroof is fully retractable. It does have a shade. That said, I would stay away from this car. I have owned it for a month and am very unappy with the quality. For one example: the radiator support is made of thin plastic and is exposed along the front of the undercarriage. Hitting a curb at 3 mph can cause $1400 worth of damage. Ever pull too far into a parking space? Be careful .... [sgp]

What kind of sunroof is it? Fixed? Retractable? Does it have a shade? Rob* 19:13, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Looks like it's prolly fixed and has no shade from this picture -- [Eos roof] Rob* 19:16, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Actually it is retractable and has a built in shade.

Hi everyone, just a friendly reminder: Talk pages should not be used as forums. I would invite everyone to hop on over to the VW Vortex forums for the Eos http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=786 Thanks!--Analogue Kid 21:49, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Platform?

The body of the article says the Eos is built on the PQ46 (a/k/a B6) platform shared with the Passat Mark 6. However, in the infobox, the platform is listed as the A5 platform and the related vehicle is the Golf Mark V.
