Vohu Mano is one among several "emanations" of the Zoroastrian god Ahura Mazda.
It represents Ahura Mazda's "good mind". Following religious tradition, Vohu Mano, appeared in some form to Zarathushtra, the prophet and founder of Zoroastrianism, and asked him:
- "Who are you, and whom are you close to ?"
Zarathustra answered:
- "I am Zarathushtra, enemy of the evil and friend of good people".
