The prime function of Vodafone is as a cycling velodrome. There is a cycling track under the removeab le seating seen during the Australian open. It is reguarly used for cycling throughout the year. yet despite this, cycling is even mentioned in the article.

Until this recent move the venue was largely outside of the two weeks of the Australian Open tennis tournament. Ditto. --Angry mob mulls options 06:10, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
