Description

The flight line of Marine night fighter squadron VMF(N)-513 Flying Nightmares at airfield K-8 (Kunsan) in the summer of 1952. The aircraft visible are (from left to right): Grumman F7F-3N Tigercat, Vought F4U-5N Corsair, and a Douglas F3D-2 Skyknight. Note the steel matting taxiway and the oil dumped on the ground.
