[edit] 1980 - silver!

From persisting changes of "silver" to "bronze" in Vladislav Tretiak article and now here, I see, that quite a wide-spread confusion was caused by some of the major media, covering the event. For the fact, that there was silver, not bronze, please, check out the official website of the IOC: [1]. The point is that the competition system in the medal round was round-robin, not play-offs.
