VisibleWorld is a New York media services company founded in 1999. It provides a complete cross-platform solution for electronically creating, delivering, and monitoring customized video ads for television and broadband internet. Backers include Comcast Interactive Capital, Reuters Venture Capital, Time Warner, and WPP Group.
The primary product, IntelliSpot, is designed to deliver commercials to designated cable systems, broadcasters, zip codes, and in the future, households. Several advertisers have tested the service including clients in the wireless, medical, insurance, and media industries.
Visible World is currently involved in a 100,000 household targeting trial on Long Island, NY with Cablevision. Recently, Wendy's ran a successful campaign during several national broadcast football games, in which the content of the commercials was altered depending on the action in the game prior to the commercial slot.
