The copyright is owned by Mara Vishniac Kohn, heir to Roman Vishniac. I, (Rmrfstar), am attempting to get in contact with her to request a release of some of her father's photos under a free license, but she is quite busy. All photographs of his are owned by her, so no free alternatives could be found. As a temporary solution (hopefully), this photo was found at http://zebra.biol.sc.edu/vishniac/gen-info.html. It is of low-resolution and should not damage the value of the actual work significantly, yet is crucial to an article about the photographer as it depicts a famous endeavor of biology and photomicroscopy of Vishniac's.
