Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP was founded by Ed Virchow in 1931. Staff today includes 163 partners among over 1,375 total staff. Virchow Krause recently ranked as the 15th largest certified public accounting and consulting firm in the United States according to the 2007 Public Accounting Report's "Top 100", and are the largest Wisconsin-based CPA firm^{[citation needed]}.
