Violator is a company, record label, marketing group, multi-media entertainment conglomerate and a Sports & Music Management group. founded and run by Chris Lighty[1].

Violator specializes in managing the careers of hip hop and R&B performers and is also a record label.[1] Included among Violator's past and present clients are Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, Missy Elliott, Fantasia, Teairra Mari, Mýa, Cormega, Mobb Deep, LL Cool J, Nas, and 50 Cent. Violator has released two compilation albums of material from its aritsts: Violator: The Album, Vol. 1 and Violator: The Album, Vol. 2. Vol. 1 features Q-Tip's first solo hit single, "Vibrant Thing". Chris is also the new manager for Sean "Diddy" Combs.
