===What abt Jenin=== Robin Hood 1212 01:57, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
This article stinks of bias. Where are all the terror acts by the israeli occupation forces commited on palestenians? I guess that would take too much space to put on here. Robin Hood 1212
- a quote for you from dictionary.com
- ter·ror·ism (těr'ə-rĭz'əm)
- n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
- The terrorist acts committed by the Palestinians where for the purpose of intimidating the Israeli public. Many of these terrorist attacks where carried out on innocent civilians with no hint of military presence in the area. In places such as restaurant, malls, and public transportation buses. On the other hand, the Israeli military operations where carried out in order to prevent such terrorism as mentioned above from continuing in the future.
- In cases such as Jenin, terrorists involved in the Netanya hotel shooting and other terrorist attacks, were hiding out in the refuge camp. No one, should be expected to sit back and do nothing when tens of people are killed for pure hate.
- You may point out, that innocent civilians were also killed. Unfortunately in war, that is what happens. Every time a Palestinian civilian was killed during the conflict, the Israeli army launched an investigation as to whether the soldiers behaved properly in such a situation or not. If the soldier killed or injured without reason, he was punished. On the other hand, this conflict is supposed to be about the liberation of Palestine. Then why are restaurant, malls, and public transportation buses being attacked? They are of no military significance. They are innocent civilians killed while going about their lives. Doing that is what is considered terrorism. Defending ones self from those who kill those innocent civilians is not terrorism. Leppi 13:06, 31 July 2007 (UTC) Leppi
[edit] March 3
If I remember correctly, the shooting took place in Wadi Haramiya checkpoint, where the old British checkpoint once was. Saying it is by Ofrah is misleading. It is not located near any settelment. I think it would be more appropriate to say at the intersection of Highway 60 and the halamish road. Leppi 13:06, 31 July 2007 (UTC) Leppi
[edit] Shocking Bias in this Article
Wikipedia is designed for people to edit information in a balanced way, not to support their beliefs and convictions by omitting facts and distorting figures as they please. Virtually all references to Palestinian casualties, including civilians, have been deliberately ignored here. In one of the few instances where Palestinians are mentioned (Jenin), they are conveniently excluded from the 'total' for that month. Buttockhat (talk) 15:50, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
