Vincent Flemmi

Vincent J. Flemmi (d. 1979), aka "Jimmy The Bear", was a hitman for Somerville, Massachusetts's Winter Hill Gang and was the brother of government informant Stephen Flemmi. During the 1960's and 70's Flemmi was a feared hitman during the Irish Mob Wars. Flemmi first went to prison 1969 and would return several times until his death from a drug overdose in 1979. [1]
