Vince Adáme is an American musician currently based in Portland, Oregon. Adáme has become an A-list studio drummer in the Pacific Northwest and is highly sought after for live shows as well.[citation needed]

Originally from South Carolina, Adáme relocated to Atlanta, where he played blues with The Famous Hoods before joining Kingsized, a seven-piece loungecore band that earned critical praise and notoriety performing swing, jump blues, soul, torch and originals throughout the South.[1]

Upon moving to Portland, Adáme immediately began performing and recording with local musicians.[citation needed]
Adáme currently tours and performs with wide range of musicians, including Jennifer Lynn, Joshua James, The Blue Vein Miners, The Ward Stroud Band, Karaoke From Hell, The Greg Earl Band, Jen and Tonic, The Reverb Brothers, One Hit Wonders & Guilty Pleasures, John Soller's Blues Train and occasionally with The Fenix Project, and Pilar French Intention. He also performs with The Last Regiment Of Syncopated Drummers, a marching drum corps dedicated to funky street beats and military cadences.[1]

In 2004, Adáme played drums on and co-produced the Joshua James album, Bullets for the Border [2][3]. Later that same year Jennifer Lynn released her debut album Leavin’ which featured Vince Adáme on drums and backing vocals.[4][5] In 2006, Adáme’s drumming could be heard on the Ward Stroud album You Got To Dance With The Ones That Brung Ya![6] As of 2007, he has completed the drum tracks for the upcoming Jennifer Lynn album[5], The Way I Feel Tonight and put the final touches on the soon to be released Joshua James album Casino El Camino.[7][2]

Adáme received the Muddy Award from the Cascade Blues Association for Best New Band 2004 with Hoodoo Nation,[8] and a Muddy Nomination for Recording Of The Year 2006 with The Ward Stroud Band.[9]
