Both the "Overview" and "Software RAID vs. Hardware RAID" sections contain general information about RAID, which do not fix well into the context of Vinum article. They should be integrated into Redundant_array_of_independent_disks or similar categories.

Also, more vinum specific details are also required. E.g. history of (g)vinum, architectural design of (g)vinum, terminology, RAID organisation supported etc.

Don't create a new page Hardware RAID compared to Software RAID. Just merge the section into RAID, the topic is already covered there. --Kubanczyk 16:27, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

A search for "vinum," a latin term meaning "wine" brought me straight to this page. Can this topic be split from the real vinum?
