Villas, better known as the Villas is a census-designated place and unincorporated area located within Lower Township, in Cape May County, New Jersey. It is part of the Ocean City Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the United States 2000 Census, the CDP population was 9,064.

Villas is the site of Blitz's Market, where one of the four winning Mega Millions lottery tickets was sold to a disabled veteran named John Belawsky on August 31, 2007. [3]

Villas is located at 39°1′9″N, 74°56′17″W (39.019277, -74.938129)[4].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.3 km² (4.0 mi²), all land. The Villa's is a small fishing town with acquaint drinking problem. The Villa's is home of the Villa's Fishing Club. http://www.villasfishingclub.com/

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 9,064 people, 3,733 households, and 2,456 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 881.5/km² (2,281.4/mi²). There were 5,694 housing units at an average density of 553.8/km² (1,433.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.35% White, 1.19% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.35% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.86% from other races, and 0.94% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.41% of the population.

There were 3,733 households out of which 28.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.9% were married couples living together, 13.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.2% were non-families. 29.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.98.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 25.6% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 22.3% from 45 to 64, and 19.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 91.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.4 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $33,563, and the median income for a family was $38,950. Males had a median income of $32,996 versus $21,723 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $16,696. About 8.3% of families and 10.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 14.3% of those under age 18 and 5.8% of those age 65 or over.
