[edit] Four Horsemen Inclusion

I do not find the image of Vasnetsov's "The Four Horsemen" anywhere in this article, yet it is worthy of inclusion. It is already uploaded into Wikipedia on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse article. If someone could add it, it would be nice. 65.248.164.214 (talk) 17:16, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fresco in Vladamir Temple

1884-1885 - Creates fresco in the Vladimir Temple in Kiev
Does anyone know anything about this temple, or the fresco?

Yes, I copied the text from three separate sources. I did some cleanup, but someone with some creativity could do better I'm sure, so I put the copyedit notice there. -- Sy / (talk) 21:42, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Buried - where?

Biography says he (as well as Apollinary V.) was buried at Vvedenskoye Cemetery in Moscow. Ditto the grave register of that cemetery. After all, he died in Moscow, not St.Pete. Then why does the article state Tikhvinskoye Cemetery (SPB) ? I suspect the pictured cross is not his grave, but his design. Pls clarify NVO 04:14, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

  • The picture is mine. During my brief visit to SPb I spent an hour photographed 30+ graves there. It was not the best day for me as minutes before I was picked up by the Metropo security guys for making illegal pictures of the stations and minutes after I was consequitevely picked up by a local criminal gang and then failed to persuade Metro security to go after them. Maybe I mixed something up. I I could find the original CD it might have the closeup of the writings on the grave. Support deleting of the photo. Alex Bakharev 05:44, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
