I merged from vignettes. Now there are a lot of items here, but they are each short enough that it makes sense to have them in the same article for now. If they grow, disamb will be necessary soon. — brighterorange (talk) 17:55, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Disambiguation

I have always used vignette to mean a graduation of colour. This was learnt from people in the print trade - they always said vignette instead of graduation because the pre-computer technique to create graduations used very expensive film screens for creating graduations. Can anyone confirm? --Simon Cox 09:44, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
