[edit] Viewing, visitation, and wake

It might be useful to clarify the difference between "Viewing", "Visitation", and "Wake". Though each of these can be different events, they are sometimes merged. However, this topic might be best approached through a higher level article such as Funeral. However, the funeral article is very broad and should probably be split apart by custom.
