Vidya Devi Jindal School

Vidya Devi Jindal School, also known as VDJS, is a residential school for girls in Haryana, India, founded in 1984.
The school was granted recognition by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the first year of its existence. It is an English medium school with c. 650 boarders. It has a teacher student ratio of 1:13, and purely vegetarian cuisine.
The school motto is Vidya Jyoti Jeevan Jyoti which is Sanskrit, and means the light of knowledge is the light of life.

It is c. 150 km from New Delhi between Hansi and Hisar.

Inter house activities include cultural festivals and recitation in addition to sports and games.

The school currently has an exchange running with Lancaster Girls' Grammar School in the North West of England. It offers an annual exchange to the school.
