Victor Okechukwu Brown

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Victor Brown nicked named "Baby Jay-Jay" (born March 30, 1984 in Benue State, Nigeria), usually known simply as Victor Okechukwu Brown, is a professional footballer. He currently plays in and out of Nigeria and is working on exporting his skills to Europe. Victor, who sported number 10 for the silver-winning Golden Eaglets team at the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Trinidad and Tobago, is a fast, lanky player. Brown was seen as one of the most talented youngsters ever during the competition.[citation needed] He prefers to play as a winger, but can also play as an attacker or a mid-fielder.

His unique, unorthodox method of play (taking on defences alone) is deemed to be very aggressive and very entertaining to those who watch him play.[citation needed] He is said to be one of the most talented footballers ever to come out of the African continent[citation needed] but he has yet to find a more lucrative European club.

[edit] Quote

-The guy simply went ballistic and the Aussie defenders who were obviously now feeling the heat and strain of chasing the ball for a good 60 minutes had nothing to match this gladiators heart and skill. He dribbled them silly as his Jordanseque skull reflected the City of Bacolet floodlights.
