I'm begining to be less baffled and bewildered
- A school always merits a redirect to its locality article (or education section thereof), as a sort of inheritance of wp place policy
"One village, one school, one article"!
To have its own article it must follow the general wp:n and wp: org rules
- Awards do not confer notability. Unless it's something like winning a notable official award several years in a row for example.
- Sports: if a school's team is notable, then the school's team get to get an article
do not confer notability. And that includes even notable one.
