[edit] Team Names
I tried, using JapaneseBaseball.com and Jim Albright's information, but could not definitively track down the actual names of the teams which Starffin played for. I could find no information on his 1946 team ("the Pacific"), and am not at all certain if the Takahashi Unions were called the "Stars" in Starffin's day, or if the Stars were an earlier team that then merged with the Unions... If anyone can provide clear information and a link it would be appreciated. 170.140.83.241 20:23, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
I would love to read more about this guy. Sounds very worty of a biography or biopic, as he really sat atop a cultural crux at a very interesting time. Were there ever any interviews with him or articles written? Amber388 18:53, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
