I'd like to address a reader's comment about the credibility of Russian artist, Victor Lysakov. As demonstrated in the reference section of the article, Mr. Lysakov has participated in several prestigious exhibitions and auctions throughout Europe and Russia and many qualified art critics have praised his talent.

Lysakov's internet searches (i.e., Google) are not currently visible due to content expressed in other languages and in his native Russian tongue. I will soon post links from the Russian version of Google, which should produce multiple results. Additionally, his publishing company just opened for business December 1, 2006 and is in the process of establishing Search Engine Optimization programs that will bring attention to Lysakov's presence in the art world.

In the meantime, I encourage you to check out both the company's website: www.lysakovartcompany.com and the artist's personal website: www.lysakov.com. (The latter of which is in Russian.) I hope my response provides clarification and positive confirmation.

[edit] "Notability"

While Victor Lysakov may not be well known in the United States, he has certainly played a significant role in Russia as an artist. He has been recognized as a co-founder of "Arbatr", a union of independent artists in Russia, and has been recognized as a signficant painter of modern expressionistic artwork by art critics in Russia and Europe. Please see the reprinted reviews written by independent art critics at major art galleries and universities on this page: http://www.lysakovartcompany.com/articles.html

I have done a little cleanup re:Advert. The advert tag should not have been removed since what still remained in the article was pretty blatant. There still seems to be a notability problem here since most of what is readable in English in a google search is just advertising. Will take other editors word for this guy being notable in Russia unless some of the spam content starts coming back, then I may suggest this article be deleted as Spam.
