The article mentions Israelis killed during the Oslo period but it doesn't mention a far greater number of Palestinians killed during the same period, nor does it mention that Israel doubled the settlements (according to UN a violation of 4th Geneva Convention and illegal) during this time. That's because there is no far greater number of palestinian killed during the time. Most victims at the time were Israeli by Palestinian hamas and islamic jihad while Israel waited for PA to do something about it. It also has nothing to do with settlements of course, which in general weren't expanded at all at the time, and it's not a violation of the geneva convention either.
