"Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA" (in some countries shortened to "DotA" due the long and possibly difficult title) is a song by Swedish dance DJ BassHunter. The lyrics, in Swedish, are about using the voice chat program Ventrilo while playing the Warcraft III Custom Map Defense of the Ancients. The song incorporates samples from the game. For these reasons, it received widespread fame in online communities shortly after it was released, and could be considered a gamer's anthem. It was released as the second single from BassHunter's second album LOL <(^^,)>.

[edit] Music video
The video starts out with Basshunter's mother opening a door where it reveals that he and his friends are playing DotA. She tells him that he's playing too much DotA when he starts singing. The video continues on showing him playing DotA and later singing at a gamehall live. At the end of the video, he and all his friends fall asleep in his room.
Notes: The mother is actually Basshunter's mother. Some scenes are taken from Boten Anna.
The new video starts with him sitting in a chair and a young girl dancing.

[edit] Development
This song was remixed, with altered lyrics by DJ S3RL under the name 'Pretty Rave Girl'. The melody is based on Daddy DJ's "Daddy DJ". Before he wrote the "DOTA" lyrics, his original remake of "Daddy DJ" had him singing the original lyrics of "Daddy DJ".
An English version of the song called "All I Ever Wanted" will be released as the second UK single on July 7, 2008. The second single was originally planned to be "Please Don't Go" but due to some technical issues the single was scrapped in the UK and only released in Sweden.
