- This image is essential for illustrating the text next to which it appears, as it depicts the Norsefire regime, and illustrates some of the totalitarian imagery that contributes to its look. Illustrating this imagery, helps to negate the notion that the Norsefire regime was designed by the filmmakers as a parody of the American Administration, as the imagery shown is clearly not derive from that.
- This image was released as part of set of images meant to promote the film. It is not a screenshot.
- The image is of a lower resolution than the original promotional image.
- This image is used on various websites, so its use on Wikipedia does not make it significantly more accessible or visible than it already is.
