Veselin Vukotic was one of the killers of human rights activist Enver Hadri. In February 1990, Hadri was shot by three men in the Belgian capital Brussels. It is thought that the assassination was ordered by the Yugoslav secret service.
Vukotic was arrested in February 2006 by Spanish police at the airport of Madrid. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia has shown interest in him as a witness.
